Discussion board for anthropology

One of the most important things to remember from this week is what a gene is. In simplest terms, a gene has traditionally been defined as a DNA segment with protein coding information. At the same time we can add much more to this narrow definition and broaden it to include the regulatory functions that some proteins have themselves.
